Entrepreneurship in Hong Kong – Survey

HKTDC has completed a survey in 2020 during Covid-19 and here is the link to the Entrepreneurship survey https://research.hktdc.com/en/article/NjY0NDUyMjE3

In collaboration with Entrepreneurs.hk, TEN is thrilled to introduce our new survey on entrepreneurship in January 2024. We aim to collect and analyze data and insights on the current situation, challenges, and opportunities for entrepreneurs in Hong Kong, especially in the post-Covid-19 era.

We will be asking questions about the motivations behind starting a business, the types of businesses started, the funding sources used, and the business models employed. We will also be exploring the skills and traits that are most important for entrepreneurs to have, as well as the role of education, mentorship, networking, technology, innovation, social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, collaboration, competition, failure, perseverance, creativity, passion, leadership, teamwork, customer feedback, market research, data analysis, financial management, sales and marketing, product development, customer service, and branding in entrepreneurship. Our survey will be designed to be comprehensive, informative, and actionable, and we hope that the results will provide valuable insights for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and researchers alike.

We look forward to launching our survey in January 2024 and sharing the results with the entrepreneurship community. This project will be led by our president Daniel Chun who is currently a faculty member at HKUST Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies and have an active interest in investigating entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.
